In what is considered to be a significant step forward towards the enhancement of the quality of trucks on the Lebanese international highways, T. Gargour & Fils has once again re-established itself as a leader and launched its first servicing center for commercial vehicles in Bouar. This lavish event was attended by Mr. Toufick Gargour, T. Gargour & Fils, Mr. Mike Belk, President and CEO Daimler Middle East & Levant and Mr. Kozhaya Al-Otayek, President of the Bouar Municipality in addition to Mercedes-Benz clients, industry executives and media partners.


Commenting on this occasion, Mr. Toufick Gargour said: “We ensure that this center will become an essential stop for both Lebanese and foreign vehicles. Our goal is to provide the finest quality of maintenance for commercial vehicles in hopes that this will help spread the culture of regular servicing and maintenance for trucks, considering the staggering number of unfortunate accidents on the Lebanese roads. ”

He also added: “We chose this area because of its strategic location at a point which connects the capital to the North and then Syria and truly hope this center will make Lebanon a destination trucks and companies go to for maintenance and for ensuring the safety of their vehicles. Our constant efforts are aimed to guarantee a consistency of top quality services and we will work hard to provide a safer road environment, for a safer Lebanon.”


The opening of T. Gargour & Fils’ Mercedes-Benz workshop signifies an important and much needed advancement in the provision of heavy weight auto services in the region and represents a dynamic initiative in terms of economic development and expansion.

The Municipality of Bouar recognized the importance of such an event, and took the opportunity to honor T. Gargour & Fils. Mr. Al-Otayek, President of the Municipality, declared: “We thank T. Gargour & Fils for taking the initiative in opening this substantial center which will surely transform the area into a dynamic region and provide its citizens with new job opportunities, which will in turn help improve the area’s economic issues. We trust that the new job opportunities given to the area’s inhabitants will provide them with invaluable industrial experience in the maintenance field.”



Following the inauguration, the attendees were taken on a tour around the center, equipped with the latest tools and diagnostics equipment, and then treated to a delicious lunch from a line-up of live food stations. The large center consists of the latest techniques available to allow the servicing of several trucks at the same time. Moreover, the center offers its clients with top quality services based on international standards and has created numerous job opportunities.
